POST OFFER EMPLOYMENT TESTING
Alliance Physical Therapy offers accurate, thorough, and highly effective Post-Offer Employment Testing (POET). Alliance will visit the work site and perform a complete job analysis to carefully identify all essential functions of a job or position and custom develop a screening tool to assist the employer in ensuring that all candidates are capable of safely completing all job related tasks.

FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY EVALUATION
A Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) is a series of tests administered to a workers’ comp claimant and are often used to determine an injured worker’s capabilities and restrictions. Additionally, the evaluation can help determine if the worker is able to return to the physical demands of his or her pre-injury job. Alliance Physical Therapy offers Functional Capacity Evaluations based on the internationally-recognized Matheson system. This comprehensive, hands-on FCE has been carefully built around evaluation tools which have been court tested and published in reliability and validity studies. Specifically, the FCE is administered by a “thinking evaluator” in an individually tailored manner that meets the high standards of the Practice Hierarchy of Industrial Rehabilitation, making the FCE safe, practical, and useful.
The objective of a Work Conditioning Program is to restore physical capacity and function in order for a patient to return to work. The work conditioning specialists at Alliance Physical Therapy utilize physical conditioning and functional activities to achieve these objectives. It is an intensive, work-related, goal-oriented conditioning program used to restore functional activity, muscle performance, motor function, range of motion and cardiovascular function. Progressive work simulation activities are performed in multi-hour sessions, typically two hours per day, 3 to 5 days per week.
ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUE (ART)
Active Release Techniques® treatment is a hands-on touch and case-management system that allows a practitioner to diagnose and treat soft-tissue injuries and conditions with exceptional outcomes!
ART® is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system that is movement based, and has over 500 specific protocols that treat affected areas of the body.
The technique can be used on patients with acute, chronic, overuse, repetitive strain injuries and postoperative cases of all types.
Dry Needling is an integrative therapeutic modality for soft tissue dysfunction.
It is used to treat trigger points, low back pain, cervical pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, other joint pain, headaches and tissue swelling.
How does it help? Dry Needles introduce tiny lesions in the soft tissue which desensitize peripheral sensory nerves and stimulate healing through the normal physiology of the bodily systems involving the immune, endocrine and cardiovascular systems, thus promoting homeostasis.
